Tommie’s Place is a transitional living program for young adults who are pregnant or parenting and are currently homeless or becoming homeless in the near future. The 18 month program is designed to facilitate the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency with an additional focus on positive parenting.

Semi-supervised shared apartment living, on-site case management and counseling, employment and educational assistance, daily independent living skills education and parenting classes, aftercare support and referrals

Eligibility:
Must be 16-21 years old (if under 18, must be legally emancipated), pregnant or parenting a child 0-5 years old, homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The youth must attend an orientation for the program, which are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 3:00 pm at 4145 Swift Ave #2, San Diego, CA 92104. This would start the referral process.
