Brightwood College

At our San Diego campus, as well as our other Brightwood Colleges in California, your education extends beyond the classroom. Our programs are designed to furnish you with knowledge and skills for the real world. Taught by dedicated instructors with working experience, our courses offer insight into what your new career may hold. In addition, our externship and clinical opportunities can further prepare you for the day-to-day situations you may encounter in the workplace. Vista Hill: Drug Dependency Court

The Vista Hill Dependency Drug Court Program provides adult screenings and referrals to drug and/or alcohol treatment for families that are involved with Child Welfare Services (CWS). Substance Abuse Specialists are stationed at the five Dependency Courts located at County of San Diego Superior Court buildings.

Vista Hill: Incredible Families Program

In collaboration with San Diego County Child Welfare Services (CWS) and Behavioral Health Services – Children, Vista Hill’s Incredible Families Program (IFP) provides parent training curriculum and mental health services to children and their parents.

Vista Hill: Sober Living and Geisel House

Recognizing that a stable home environment is essential to successful recovery from substance abuse, Vista Hill found a solution by acquiring a 26-unit apartment complex in 2000. Operating as a sober living environment, the Vista Hill Sober Living Apartments provide transitional housing in a safe and sober environment in the Lemon Grove community.

Vista Hill: On Track

On Track is a 6-week group curriculum for teens and parents in which the teen’s choices at school or home are elevating to higher disciplinary consequences.

Services are offered in Chula Vista, La Mesa, and Poway.
