Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego

Scripps Mercy Hospital, San Diego, is the county’s longest established medical center. At our San Diego campus, we offer all levels of care from routine check-ups and primary care to a wide range of specialty services, including a Level I trauma center, minimally invasive robotic surgery program, 24-hour emergency care, acute medical and surgical services, perinatal care and one of San Diego’s only chest pain centers.

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla

Established in 1924 by Ellen Browning Scripps, Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has been one of Southern California’s premier medical centers for more than 80 years. In 1964, Scripps La Jolla moved from downtown La Jolla to its 43-acre site east of Interstate 5. Today the hospital provides care for more than 130,000 patients each year, and is equipped with 312 licensed beds, has more than 2,200 employees and approximately 800 affiliated physicians. Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla offers a wide range of medical and surgical services including a Level II Trauma Center and 24-hour emergency services, intensive care, interventional cardiology and radiology, radiation oncology, cancer care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic services, neurology, bariatric surgery and women’s health services.

Sharp Grossmont Hospital

Sharp Grossmont Hospital, located in La Mesa, is the largest health care facility in East San Diego County and is known for outstanding programs in heart care, orthopedics, rehabilitation, robotic surgery, stroke care and women’s health. The emergency room is one of the nation’s most technologically advanced intensive care and emergency facilities.

Tradition One, Inc.

Founded in 1971, Tradition One is a non-profit organization which maintains and operates a campus dedicated to the rehabilitation of persons in the continuing process of recovery from alcoholism and other drug addictions. We are an accredited Social Model Recovery Home, licensed and certified by the State of California, Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. Tradition One is a six month residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation program for adult men. We focus on the Twelve Steps of the recovery program in a spiritual aspect as outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.

North County Serenity House Residential Treatment

North County Serenity House serves women & women with children who wish to recover from drug or alcohol dependence. We also recognize the importance of serving those clients with co-occurring mental health issues. Our programs utilize a strong basis in the 12-Step traditions to help our women establish a stable, lasting base of support as they begin their journey of recovery. NCSH Center is a 120 bed residential facility that serves women & women with children who wish to recover from drug or alcohol dependence. Adult Mental Health Case Management Services: Central San Diego Case Management

Adult Mental Health Case Management Services offers field-based services that provide strengths-based, psychosocial rehabilitation, intervention, and resource management to assist individuals in obtaining optimum independence. Services are provided, on both a voluntary and involuntary basis, ensuring that psychiatric treatment needs, as well as food, clothing, shelter, and medical care needs, are met.

Mental Health Systems: Strengths-Based Case Management (North)

Strengths-Based Case Management North provides a wide range of services to assist individuals who suffer from a major mental illness or co-occurring disorders. We provide assistance and care coordination from evaluation to discharge planning. Our recovery centered services provide ongoing interventions, which focus on resolving problems through psychosocial rehabilitation and resource management.

Emergency Screening Unit

The Emergency Screening Unit (ESU) provides emergency psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, brief outpatient counseling, case management and emergency medication management to children and adolescents under age 18. Over 1,000 youth receive an emergency psychiatric assessment at the Emergency Screening Unit annually. The unit is open 24 hours/7 days a week, and serves the entire County. Patients are brought by parents/guardians, social workers, law enforcement or ambulance from their family residences or from shelters, Juvenile Hall, hospital emergency rooms, schools, foster homes, group homes, or residential facilities.

San Diego Unified School District: Marcy Day Treatment Program

Marcy School, a day rehabilitation program, is an alternative high school for students whose underlying mental health issues impede their ability to benefit from an education within a comprehensive school setting. The goal of the program is to offer sufficient educational supports to enable the student to return to a more traditional school environment.
