Foster Youth and Homeless Education Services (San Diego County Office of Education)
The Foster Youth and Homeless Education Services Unit responds to, assists, and empowers all systems that support students who are in foster care or are homeless. FYS Programs are designed to prepare foster youth to become successful, self-sufficient and independent adults.

Dollars for Scholars ( Fostering Opportunities Scholarship Fund)
Fostering Opportunity Scholarship Fund’s (FOSF) goal is to expand the educational opportunities for foster students by providing financial support for their higher education endeavors. We pair our scholarship recipients with mentors, who can lend supportive ear and offer advice, as each student transitions into their new environment and meets the challenges of higher education.

SLR- Student Loan Report
The Student Loan Report was started by Drew Cloud in 2015 to provide unbiased coverage on the latest student loan news and information.
The Student Loan Report also creates resources and guides for borrowers and their families so they make the best decisions when it comes to paying for college and repaying student debt.

Dental Hygiene School at Southwestern College
The Dental Hygiene Clinic at the Higher Education Center at National City serves as an educational facility to support the clinical learning needs of the students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program. Under the supervision of licensed dentists (DDS/DMD) and registered dental hygienists (RDH), the dental hygiene students provide oral health care education and dental hygiene services to the general public along with the Southwestern College community, including students, faculty and staff.

Fred Finch Youth Center
Fred Finch Youth Center offers unconditional care, support and opportunity to children, youth, young adults, and their families who face complex challenges from one or more of the following: mental or emotional impairment; developmental disability; trauma and abuse, some at a very young age; alcohol or other drug use; poverty; exclusion; discrimination and stigma.
Because each person has different needs and needs change over time, services are available in several configurations and many locations including residential treatment, public school, non-public school, homes, community settings, specialized independent and shared housing. All mental health, educational and social services are professional, culturally competent, innovative, individualized and based on the strengths, hopes and aspirations of each person and family. The goal is always to support the individual and family on their journey to a healthy, satisfying, productive life in the community.

Survivors for Solutions
Survivors for Solutions (S4S) was created to advocate for peer-led services and programs, survivor-informed policies at all levels of government, and provide best practices consultation to governments, non-profits and institutions. Survivors for Solutions offers over 15 years of experience in advocacy, administration and service delivery to disenfranchised populations including sexual exploitation and violence against women.
