San Diego Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program (SANDAPP) provides case management and counseling services to pregnant and parenting youth throughout San Diego County. In addition, SANDAPP also offers Parent Child Interaction Therapy services for teen parents and their children to improve bonding and attachment and resolve behavior issues and concerns. These services offer a hands-on approach to parenting skill development and are proven to reduce behaviors of the child’s that the teen parent is concerned about.

Services:
Services focus on ensuring good health outcomes for pregnant and parenting adolescents and their children; helping pregnant and parenting teens to return to or stay in school so they can graduate from high school; providing guidance and support to ensure teen parents have positive parenting skills; and promoting youth development. We assist each teen to develop a pregnancy prevention plan to prevent a second unplanned pregnancy. Services are provided to both female and male teen parents and are available in English and Spanish.
